Activities
Activities:
Theater-Based Competency Mapping & Action Planning
The project begins with competency mapping activities and participatory roundtable discussions involving youth workers and young people from different backgrounds. These activities identify key challenges related to gender-based violence, discrimination, and social inequality while supporting the co-creation of inclusive educational content and action plans.
Development of Theater-Based Educational Methodologies
Building on the outcomes of the participatory activities, DILEMMA develops a comprehensive framework of theater-based non-formal learning methodologies. The framework integrates forum theater, improvisation, storytelling, and role-play techniques designed to foster empathy, critical reflection, inclusion, and civic participation.
Creation of Theater-Based Learning Modules & Role-Play Scenarios
A central activity of the project is the development of interactive educational modules and role-playing scenarios focused on gender-based violence, discrimination, social inequality, and human rights. These learning tools provide immersive experiences that encourage participants to explore complex social realities through active participation and collaborative learning.
Development of the Digital Theater Learning Platform
The project develops an open-access digital platform that hosts all educational resources, including theater-based modules, video tutorials, interactive tools, and a digital learning toolbox. The platform supports blended learning experiences, resource sharing, accessibility, and long-term sustainability of project outcomes.
Pilot Testing, Training & Blended Learning Activities
A series of pilot workshops, blended mobility activities, and testing laboratories are organized to train youth workers and young people in applying theater-based methodologies. These activities allow participants to test, refine, and evaluate the developed tools while strengthening their competencies in facilitation, inclusion, and social engagement.
Research, Inclusion & Gender Mainstreaming Activities
DILEMMA integrates research and evaluation processes throughout the project to ensure that all educational tools and methodologies are inclusive, adaptable, and responsive to participants’ needs. Special attention is given to gender mainstreaming, accessibility, diversity, and the participation of individuals with fewer opportunities.
